Due to changes in life and job(s), my wife and I are unfortunately selling our mostly converted Skoolie. Purchased from West Virginia in 2019, we had it mostly converted and were working quickly until early 2020 when COVID, job changes, and loss of any free time made us unable to do more work. We have taken it out occasionally, but have been unable to use it or work on it any longer, forcing us to make the tough decision to sell it.
Our conversion so far.
Structure: 1ft raise utilizing steel tubing, welded and bolted into place with grade 8 1/2" bolts. Frame is otherwise unchanged and in good condition. Minimal amounts of rust on the frame.
Drivetrain: Completely unchanged, the engine is DT466 with a MD3060 transmission, unlocked for 6th gear (2nd overdrive).
Interior: Windows replaced after the raise with 16ga steel. Sealed and painted. The interior was then insulated and further sealed with 2 part spray foam. Floor is 1" formular insulation with OSB with tongue and groove over top. There is, front to back, sitting area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
HVAC: Heating is through radiant heating pipes run through the floor insulation at 6" spacing. Pipes contain engine coolant and are heated by either a Webasto-style diesel fired heater with separate 5gal diesel tank, or can be heated by the engine. Floor pipes are separated into bedroom/bathroom, and front half of the bus. Each zone is independently controlled by thermostat and run by a liquid pump. A/C is 8k BTU window unit designed to circulate with the exterior of the bus without sticking out. The cooling vents are ducted to front and back and independently controlled with 120mm silent computer fans on switches.
Plumbing: 110gal fresh water divided into 2x 55gal water tanks. 12v pump circulates with 3x pressure tanks to decrease frequent pump triggering. Can also be run off of city water, and the tanks fill by city water. Toilet installed and fully functional, dumping into 55gal black water tank. Kitchen sink installed and fully functional dumping into 55gal grey water tank, with HepVO trap. Propane fired water heater with 120V heating coil. NOTE, propane controller for water heater not functioning since installed.
Electrical: 240V plug in, house wired with 14ga stranded wire. Extra included with purchase. 120V to 12V converted from dedicated circuit with fuse panel. 12V wired with 16ga stranded wire. Extra included with purchase. Ceiling lights 12V LED. Does not have house batteries. Bus batteries with outlet and trickle charger in compartment on 120V circuit.
Kitchen: Propane range and oven fully functional. 2x mini fridges also fully functional.
External: 20 gallon propane tank, 60 gallon diesel tank, electrical box containing 240V plug, converter to 30A and 15A plugs, hose for connection, and waste water dump hose.

Bathroom sink (with additional HepVO)
Hitch receiver (needs to be cut down and bolted, bolts included)
Extra 120V and 12V wiring
