2004 International For Sale

Selling the bus. Nothing wrong just got way too busy with two jobs and a bunch of other responsibilities. I just don't have the time anymore.
I am located in Show Low, AZ.

  • 2004 International CE200
  • 7.3 Navistar T444e Diesel Engine
  • Allison 2000 Series Automatic Transmission
  • 185,000 miles
Selling price is $10,000

All of the hard work is already done. Pleas see video link below for record of work done on the bus.

  • Bus is in excellent condition.
  • Engine starts immediately and runs great.
  • The head mechanic at the district where I work checked out this bus and said it is in great condition.
  • Bus was purchased at AAA Bus in Phoenix.
  • No rust even outside/underneath. No leaks. The only thing it will need is a new clutch fan. The current one is permanently engaged.

Done to the bus:

  • New battery from Nappa.
  • Exhaust rerouted to side/up.
  • Freeflow muffler.
  • Industrial exhaust cover.
  • All of the old flooring removed.
  • Old ceiling insulation removed.
  • 3/4 inch pink foam insulation and 3/4 inch flooring boards over original steel floor.
  • Original steel floor cleaned, treated with OSPHO, and painted with Rustoleum Professional Rusty Metal Primer.
  • Ceiling partially insulated.
  • Windows removed, covered with steel sheet, and insulated.
  • Original main entrance closed off for passenger seat.
  • Custom overhead class-c style overhang.
  • Kitchen partially built: pantry, countertop, sink, faucet, drain pipe.
  • Toilet area with sink, faucet, and drain pipe.
  • Shower pan with hole in floor for drain.
  • Large window installed on "passenger side".
  • Overhead storage compartments.
  • Original top light-openings covered.
  • Bus painted with marine paint (drab) and Rustoleum enamel (black). Hood needs to be finished with paint as the winter came fast and I wasn't able to give that part the full paint job.

Included with bus:
  • Two original bench seats with seat-belts.
  • Steel tubing panels for roof deck.
  • Exhaust pipe
I will post more pictures soon. The link below is to my youtube channel documenting the build, so you can see what I've done to it.

Still looking for the source but I'm sure I've seen legislation regarding diesel exhaust location and it not being allowed in front of any opening window?

I have the rest of the pipe, which will connect to the muffler and put the actual exhaust at the roofline.

Some photos of the inside and of the seats and roof rack (outside).
I also have four or six of the old AC fans, the auxiliary heater with fan, some drawer slides, a bunch of brand new hinges for cabinets, and also the pulls for drawers and cabinets.

The original windows will also be included.

Forgot to mention before that the roof was lightly sanded then given two coats of roll-on primer. After that two coats of paint.

Don't know why some of the pics come out sideways. I open them in photoshop and they look normal.

Frankly, I'm surprised she hasn't sold yet. Have you tried the FB Skoolies For Sale group? I don't think Truck Trader will get you to the buyers you need. But if you can stomach FB it's worth putting her on the Marketplace there.

If you do create a Marketplace ad, and don't want to join the groups, let me know the link and I'll post it there for you.

I am surprised it hasn't sold yet either. Looks great and for the work done to it, seems more than fair. I agree with FB. I partake on there due to my Classic Old Frills Satinette pigeon breed along with one skoolie forum. (Still amazes me how people there buy a bus, convert it and have no idea how the thing runs let alone where to add oil or coolant.)

I'm an old school Craigslist user...but Marketplace on Facebook does have lots of stuff that doesn't appear on CL. I have a FB account only for the marketplace...because I find buses and trailers there and you can't contact a seller without the FB profile.

If rockinmeow from Phoenix (how convenient!) doesn't buy your bus...which would be silly...I could also link your Skoolie.net ad on FB for ya. Just let me know.

I think CL is not as popular as it once was due to FB marketplace. I have sold many things on CL but lately it has been a bust
