Nashville is getting rid of its Bookmobile service, and has a nice 2005 Custom Conversion van with under 30K miles. Current bid is about 7.5K, maybe a bit high but it's virtually new with barely any miles on it (especially for a diesel). Plus, it has a generator, already wired up for electric, and if you're wanting to open up a mobile bookstore, well it's just the ticket (otherwise, you just need to remove most of the bookshelves, add plumbing, furniture, appliances, and you're good to go).

Definitely read the more info link if you're interested, it says it has a chunk missing out of one of the tires and is unsafe to drive. My guess is it probably wouldn't be too bad, but might not be a bad idea to take an extra tire to pick it up.
*Note: I bought their other Bookmobile earlier this year. It was a 1995, longer, and obviously had more miles (over 100K, don't remember exact amount). These vehicles were still in service until the end of June. Everything worked fine on my bus, even though there was less info on it (they listed the generator and wheelchair lift as unknown working condition, well both worked fine and so did the two a/c units, heaters, lights, everything else). So there's no need to worry if they're being sold cause the engine blew up, they're being sold because they don't need bookmobiles anymore.
