Exclamation 2005 Thomas bus more details

Most of the hardest work is already done! Interior demo complete. No seats! Wall and ceiling exposed for new wiring and plumbing. Original insulation available to put back in. The vehicle Manual goes with the bus.

The bus has only 83K miles. These engines are known to do 300,000 miles. The bus drove beautifully up to Oregon from San Francisco. Here’s some info:

2005 36ft Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner flat nose rear engine passenger bus. Caterpillar ERC 7207 diesel engine.
AD2000 transmission.
Air brakes.
Good tires.
Already registered as a Motor Home with the Oregon DMV, which means that you do not need a CDL.
It is gutted so that means we took out all the seats. The walls and ceiling are gone too. The floor is solid 3/4" plywood covered by a rubber mat.
Original windows do not leak. Roof solid, no rust.
The heater tubes are run to the front to provide heat and defrost while driving on the road.
One handy thing about the bus is that it has two large luggage storage bays underneath which could hold water tanks.
Rear engine buses have the most room and are quieter when driving down the road.

$6,000 buys a solid blank slate for your Motor Home dreams!
