2005 Thomas door seals

Hi there
I am looking for a bottom door seal for my 2005 Thomas , any supply places anyone can recommend?
The bottom piece appears to slide in, and the vertical piece is missing also.
Pictures are attached.
Thanks in advance

Peter

Your local Freightliner dealer. I got mine there. They are cheap too. Some folks have used the water pipe insulating tubes ... but they DO NOT paint well so you have to get a color you like ... as-is.

Freightliner can order you Thomas bus parts ? Really?
I didn't think this was a freightliner chassis.

Thomas Built is owned by Daimler North America, which also owns Freightliner and Western Star, along with Detroit Diesel. Thomas Built Buses share a lot of parts with Freightliner trucks and some do use Freightliner chassis, though I'm not sure if all do. Many parts can be looked up via the Daimler parts system. More specific parts can also be ordered through any Thomas dealer, which has their own parts lookup system. I've watched my local dealer look up parts for my buses under both systems.

You may want to consider Midwest Bus Sales in Litchfield, Il and Nelson's Bus Service in Whitewater, WI as both come up as Thomas dealers per Thomas's website.

Also consider Freightliner ServicePoint providers, usually in TA-Petro truck stops, when necessary. Truck stops are usually very pricey for repairs, but are handy when the occasional wildcard repair crops up.

I looked at the build sheet for my 2008 Thomas and the part number for bottom rubber is TBB 64002320. the outward door seal is TBB 64003302 I think?

Not sure if the same for your bus though. Here's a link to my build sheet. just replace my VIN with yours.

I will contact both dealers, thanks guys.

I am intrigued about using water pipe insulating tubed. Im assuming its the dark foam that goes around a pipe.
How would that mount inside that channel?

I thing the origional seal will last moreso.

I have no idea how it was mounted, h=just read it was done. I used some on a temporary stairwell cover in ours while we are using it as a moving van. Not quite the same. Maybe they put the foam pipe insulation on the edge of the bottom step?

I tried to replace your vin with our Thomas bus but it wouldn’t work I think you need special access to the website or something. Could you help me look ours up?

Can you get HIS vehicle information? If so, then it is a matter of providing the proper "other" parameters in the URL that was provided.
