Way too much money. Rust is moderate but not bad at all. Nasty oil leak is evident. Also looks to be leaking oil or fuel slightly up top. Can't tell for sure which trans it has either. An AT545 is definitely not worth $12,500. MT643, still not even close. I say $3500-$4500 all day long, the oil leak could take a bit of money to fix, and if the trans is an AT545, it WILL eventually give up, though it might not be for another 4-8 years. Get pics of the fluid pan and shifter with the shift pattern lettering legible.

definitely WAY to high price.. even though the trans nose pic does look like that of an MD3060

Dang! I'll sell you mine for $10K, it's twice the bus that one is. (Well, probably not twice...) That's an '06 so probably getting into the emissions problem area as well. I know prices are on the rise, but with the few unknowns there, I wouldn't pay more than $5000, and try for considerably less.

Oil leak looks pretty bad and if its a rear main seal you will have to pull transmission to fix. Also check for blow by after you warm it up. I also question the year as in 04-07 cummins went to the common rail fuel system and that motor is a VP44 system 98-04.
