2009 Thomasbuilt

Recently, we inherited a Skoolie that my brother had built for him in 2019 by Paved to Pines in western Canada.

Year: 2009
Make: Thomas
Model: Transit Bus
Body Style: Custom Bus RV conversion
V.I.N: 1T7YU2E2391112850
Odometer: 294,696 km
Engine: 7.2L L6 Diesel
Transmission: Automatic
Drive train: Pusher Bus engine in rear
Branding system: Air brakes
Colour: Primary White Secondary: Blue stripes

It was beautifully and lovingly created, but now needs a new home. It is currently sitting just north of Toronto, ON Canada at our cottage, but needs a forever home.

Some additional info on Buster

About Buster

Buster, is a 40 foot school bus converted into an off-grid house designed to snowbird from the harsh Canadian winters down to the beautiful eastern coast of Florida! This big activity bus conversion sports everything you'd need to live comfortably with about as much counter space as a New York apartment, no matter where the road takes you.
The bamboo counter tops add a beautiful airy feel with the white washed tongue and groove ceiling and the blue cabinetry and with the propane oven and range, you can cook just like you're at home.
Designed to sleep 6, this bus conversion can handle your families craziest road trips and then some. Even after the dirtiest of adventures, you can come back to the bus and clean your clothes with the ventless washer/dryer combo unit in the dedicated laundry area in front of the bedroom.
Buster the skoolie also has a full sit-down shower and a composting toilet with heated full bays under the bus that we ran ducting to for heated storage. This is where we kept all of the tanks so we're left with as much space and storage inside the bus as possible!
At the front of the bus is a great entertainment area with a couple bar stools, a massive couch bed and the owner brought his own lazyboy after the build was complete. Topped off with a flip down TV and a wood burning stove, this bus conversion has it all to be comfy everywhere, anytime!

Asking Price

The asking price for 'Buster' is $50K.
The kitchen is complete and also has a generator.
She needs a new battery. And is currently sitting about 45 miles north of Toronto.

Selling

We know that the battery is dead, so are not able to start the bus, but other than this, we dont believe anything to be wrong.

My brother built out the bus and he has passed away and his children dont have the same dream.

Thanks for responding. Very sorry to hear about your brother. Our budget is around 30k. I'll keep checking to see if the price goes down. Best wishes!!

Hi Princess Lynn, my brother had the bus built out - it was his dream, and he has passed. His children are not at that time in their life - so a good time to sell. It had been parked for a bit during probate, but they put in a new battery and she is running.
