The bus is fine, the engine is a no go. Theres a reason it has low mileage. Do a little research on the Maxxforce DT line of engines. I almost made the mistake of buying a near mint condition 2014 bus with a Maxxforce DT engine in it when the sales lady said it wasn't even worth the 9k they were asking for it. It had 42,000 miles too. Bummer but keep looking and save the headache and temptation.

What Bus'N'it said... As an over-the-road semi driver, I came to call MaxxForce engines MaxxiPadd engines... A throwaway of the highest order. Every rig I drove with one stayed in the shop.

Quite honestly, I wouldn't touch a post-07 diesel. 04-07s are bad enough with EGR, but after 07 they're an albatross...
