22 ft SUPERIOR BUS Co Motor Home

22 ft. SUPERIOR Motor Home., built by the SUPERIOR Bus CO!

Photos at , http://hartford.craigslist.org/rvs/2628393324.html.

This 1974 SUPERIOR has been garage stored 12 years and is now back from this years trips..
The unit has about 95,000 miles and is in good condition .There is all the usual RV comforts, and will sleep 6.
2 in an overhead bunk, 2 on the converted dinette and 2 more on a double bunk in the rear.
The rear double bed is a futon conversion from 2 singles , which can be restored in a few moments.
The Chassis is the heavy duty Dodge RM350 with a 440 Chrysler engine and 727 tranny.
WE installed a new radiator on return from Alaska , the exhaust is oversize , ignition is upgraded , and the carb is almost new. New fuel pump too.
All the "Books" engine , chassis and the origional Superior factory owners manual are included.
This unit is ready to go, back to AK, or where ever your dreams take you.
SUPERIOR is NOT the usual "sticks and staples" RV, that is just 2x2 stapled together with ply walls glued on.
The SUPERIOR Bus Co. built the RV's , almost as "Baby Bluebirds", it is built as a school bus is, even today...
Heavy steel channeling with galvanized steel exterior .An accidental rollover might ruin your day , but the coach will stay intact.
The interior is in good condition and the construction and space utilization is of course excellent.
These were the top of the line , and well engineered.
This is NOT a "project coach", tho personally I would spring for new tires , due to their age.
12,000GVW , with Equalizing tow hitch for your tow'd or a 6000 lb trailer w electric brakes.
Fred 860-346-5008 about 5 min from exit 11 on route 9 .
Daylight eastern time for calls.
