I'll bet that's what they put into it, if not more. I'm guessing the initial price tag of a 1997 4x4 bus with 100K miles was pretty high. But as we know, people rarely get their investment back out of a bus conversion if they sell it. I would certainly not pay that much for it, even if I had that kind of cash. Especially with a gasoline powered engine instead of the diesel engine that bus should rightfully have!

I just assumed the guy did it himself. It wouldn't be too expensive with a boneyard military 5 ton, or pole truck.
