Thumbs up 4X4 Short Skoolie For Sale

We have decided to list our super awesome "Quigley 4X4" short skoolie.... that's in really good condition! We toured the United States from the east coast to the mid-west, and back and forth to Alaska on the Alcan Highway! When we first converted this short bus to a skoolie, in 2013, when we only had 3 small kids and a newborn... so bunk beds worked great. Over the years our family has grown, we've added a couple more kiddos, and we have completely outgrown our adorable, yet super tough, skoolie. Our loss, your gain! Just to find a bus equipped with 4x4 is extremely hard to find...much less with the famous and favored "Quigley 4x4"! Which works excellent!!!!!!

This summer we started revamping the exterior and interior with a fresh "new" style. The exterior aesthetics have a barn-wood appearance just at the bottom window line up to the roof. At the window line down there is galvanized metal to add extra protection during some of that 4x4ing and it gives a great aesthetic tone to the barn-wood style. The interior has only been gutted to basic bones and is ready for the light, white-washed gray reclaimed tongue and groove planks for the walls and the pine sheets on the roofing with tongue and groove (reclaimed theme) on the flooring. These materials do go with the sale of the bus. Our idea was to keep the interior as a clean pallet for the design of the new owners. We have learned that bedding is easy to design, as is a simple bathroom of choice. We have just installed new meaty tires and a new starter.

Enjoy looking, we welcome questions. Possibly discuss option for new buyer to use our shop for a few days to work on the bus before you start your road trip or haul it on a trailer.

Hi there,

What transmission does the bus have?

How easy would it be to remove the wooden boards on the outside? I assume the side windows are still in place underneath the wood?

What mpg have you gotten on the highway vs city/backroads?

What mechanical issues have you had since owning it?

Thanks!
