This bus has the stock iH 9.0 liter motor with the 5 plus 2 manual transmission. It starts right up and runs strong. Lots of power. This motor has been completely gone through and all electric works. All mechanical.

Is there an endorsement required for air brakes in az?
Can anyone elaborate on what a 5 plus 2 transmission means?
I'd love to have this bus! Only thing is we've got 3 young kids so reliability is a must and putting lots of time in repairs and finishing the conversion will postpone things more than I'd like. However, patience is a virtue and I want to experience fully the learning process involved when deciding to own a skoolie. Plus, I think we can live with higher volume and lower top speed with the 9.0. Towability would be great, although I know towing would bring the top speed down even more... Lots to consider, but interested!

No endorsement if it's registered as an RV.
A 5 plus 2 is a 5 speed with a 2 speed rear end. High and low. This bus ready for build up how you want it. Seats are out and floor is ready for sealant and the floor of your choice. It is set up for towing. I really don't think it will go over 60 towing or not. But you won't know your towing anything with the torque this thing puts out.

Lowering price to 8000. Will consider trade plus cash for a 23 ft travel trailer.

Still for sale
I will be around allll weekend if anyone would like to come see it. 5000 is as low as I go. Otherwise I will figure out a way to keep it and make it work.

As nice as your bus is I doubt you will get any takers at the current asking price. When you can get a bus that is 20-years newer with a better engine and an automatic OD transmission for less than your asking price it is going to be a hard sell.
Good luck!

I'm not trying to screw over anyone here. I got into this bus and just ran out of money. Lost my job and now almost homeless with a pregnant wife. I just want what I have put into it so I can keep her and my baby from ending up in the streets. I made a mistake trying to do the skoolie life and I'm paying for it now. But this bus is worth it. God Bless.
