Apparently some luggage bays, too! Any idea what "Buyer will be required to sign CARB restriction documentation" means?

I saw that one, I really like it. Only thing I was unsure of is the engine, any idea what model Detroit Diesel motor it has?

I believe the 6v92... but they say v8, so that doesn't match up. I've seen clips of the Carpenter Coach RE with a 6v92 in them at least. Pretty cool bus.

I'll wager "CARB restriction documentation" means papers that say "I understand this vehicle does not meet CARB requirements and cannot be operated in California; I'll remove it from the state immediately" etc etc. I had to sign something like that when I bought a couple old diesel-powered towable air compressors in California a few years ago.

According to CARB, If the vehicals doesn't meet the new Regs for commercial vehicals you are restricted to 1000 miles or less a year OR Convert it to an RV get retitled then you are exempt from those standards.

It just means it isn't passing CA's more than stringent sniffer tests. Not surprising being its a Detroit. Perfectly fine for the other 49 of us!

You forgot to add the part about killing your first born, burning your house down and grinding rock salt into every piece of land you own.

It might also have a VIN block with the DMV. If you live in CA, I would pass on this one. I would hate to do a conversion then have a ton of trouble at the DMV.

That's not what I said, man.
Why so harsh and negative?

If I buy it, how much you want to drive it over here?

I'm high bidder on this one. Reserve not met. Might be out of my affordability range if it goes much higher.

Yeah, I've been watching that one also. If only it wasn't 3000 miles away.

I've got storage locked up for it if I win. It'd be a hell of a road trip (3300 miles), but I'd want to wait until after winter.
