Auction in Edmonton Alberta

over 30 buses going up for auction in Edmonton Alberta on June 27th - rather pretty transport buses - (only one non operating school bus ) - no reserve on any of them - in the past, ( before I was interested in a bus ), I noticed how cheap they went for

three, sorry - one of the chevs says major repairs done by seller, others say major repairs needed, one, maybe more says 'seller declares engine repairs needed ' - that gives me more confidence in the ones that don't have a declaration like that - I've bought vehicles at that auction and had both good an bad luck - the buses are being sold by the city of Edmonton and it's the city that made the declarations

my credit union recently stopped dealing with Mastercard, so I had to switch to Visa - my Master Card was tied directly to my account - when I used the card it came directly from my account - my new Visa doesn't offer that service - the last time I registered online at the auction, I just gave my account # and I was in - that's changed now too and they ask for $1000 via a credit card to bid online - I didn't have enough on the new card to pay the $1000 and it takes a week for a transfer to show up, so I wasn't able to bid - I'll check in a few days to see what they sold for and I'll see if the credit card screw up was a blessing or not - I was kind of bummed at not being able to bid - I have the money set aside to buy a bus, and a predetermined amount l'm willing to spend - whether those buses were within my budget or not, I don't know yet - I've seen city transit buses go for as little as $500 through that auction company and it was a good looking, good running bus

if anyone is interested, here is the record of what buses sold for at the Michener/Allen Auction in Edmonton over the last 2 years - remember, this is in Canadian $'s, worth $75 for every $100 US $'s
