I was quoted $1000 for a foam insulation job. And the labor to get to that point? If the drivetrain were acceptable to someone, that's a lot for $2000.

Insulation does not appear to be the best job... if you enlarge the photo, there appears to very thin, if not bare spots.

Being stripped already is nice, but that foam job will need to be hit again. There isn't enough like he used a small kit and really stretched it. You can see metal on the ceiling in some places.

Where it is says rust to me

That said they are not asking overly much for it, if you can live with the drive train

In Wisconsin the bus company wants 2-3k for rusty ones with the seats

If this bus isn't worth every penny of the $2K asking price, I want to know where all these $1k buses are that everyone thinks is the only good price for a bus. This bus would sell all day long with a 5.9/545 for that price. This one is gutted, worth $1K by itself to some. It's already partially insulated and wouldn't need a "full priced" redo to complete it. Good drive train worth some bucks. In the 4 months I have been here diligently looking for a bus I have seen very few bought for less than $2K. If I had an extra $2k I would buy and flip that bus. It's ready for a roof raise.

The drive train alone would make it worth 2k. The DT 360 is a very popular swap for pickups and trucks.

I was only saying foam isn't complete

It's a dependable motor from what I hear just not exactly a mountain climber

No AC rules it out for me but I know I"m in the minority of people who exclusively use engine driven AC. I paid the same money for the Wanderlounge but then I spent over a grand on spray foam.

If I wasn't a freak about AC I'd be all over this.

im the same way about A/C!! its a Must have for me for being on the road. you guys are like me, you sped a lot of time actually driving your bus on trips.. A/C makes for a much more pleasant ride.
