I really doubt the Ward Senator has a 5 speed. Mine is the SAME bus and its got a 643.
I also wonder if the gauge cluster is original.

This is the older style. Every Senator and Genesis I've seen have had the newer style cluster.
IDK, seems like the seller MAY be questionable.

Hi EastCoast CB! If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to chat about your bus and get suggestions about what questions to ask this buyer. I'm a newbie to the conversion world and would hate to travel from Tallahassee to Bowling Green, Kentucky, if there are any doubts as to the authenticity of this '92 International. Feel free to call (512-577-0223) or email me (leslieageller@gmail.com) if/when it's convenient. Thanks!

the gauge panel is entirely possible... the chassis can easily be 1 or 2 years behind the bus.. ive seen some IHC trucks from 91 / 92 that had this gauge panel.. it seems inconsistent on some chassis.. got the other panel..

just like prof. fate got his brand new school bus for his route in the fall of 2016 but is a 2018 model bus.. its possible this has a 1990 chassis and a 92 body...

Pretty unlikely.
Even if the gauge panel is original, there's no way that thing has a 5 speed.

the 5 speed I agree unless someone changed it which isnt likely. as thats a pretty pricey change even for DIYer..

Thanks for the additional input, Charlie and Christopher! Since the seller included his phone number in the Craig's List post, I might give him a call to ask for more details about the transmission and gauge panel, among other questions. I'll post an update if I'm able to get more information.
