What are the diesel emissions standards that you're facing? In Germany at least vehicles older than 25 years are exempt.
FYI the bus in your pic might (probably does) weigh more than 12,000 pounds, although there are people here with buses that size that can confirm or deny.

The bus in the photo is within the weight, it's not the GVW I need, it's the unladen weight, for example if you were to put it on a weighbridge empty. Shipping to UK, not so expensive as that.

What does a 5-window bus actually weigh? I could only find a sort of spreadsheet online that gave about 15,000 pounds for a 36-passenger bus, which would be a 6-window. Seems like a 5- would still be a good bit over 12,000.

I'm not too sure. I think somewhere between 11,000 and 13,000. My 40' weighed 17.9k fully gutted, so I'm just guessing.

You should contact BGA School Buses Inc., in Hudson, FL. They sell and ship buses overseas.

Would a 20 passenger shuttle type bus work for you?
I have 2 for sale that were just taken out of service this summer.
They will be less than $10,000.
Both are 2011 Ford F450's with about 140,000 miles and ready to use.
They have an empty weight of a little over 7,000 pounds.
The picture shows the style, I can send actual pictures if interested.
