Compile the Required Documents.
Obtain Proof of Liability Insurance.
Obtain Your Auto Dealer Bond.
Submit Your Dealer License Application.
That business location can't be your home either, it must be commercially zones property dedicated to vehicle sales and have both room to store all the vehicles and a suitable dedicated office space.

Most of them get flipped without my name on any paperwork. It's 6 cars in Ga. before needing a dealer license.

From the ad that came up for me -- $650 for a condition unknown bus is $650 too much...
Seriously, if they can't advertise it as a running vehicle, it's a parts vehicle unless you were local to go and inspect it before bidding.
What am I missing?

Every good bus I've had has have a very vague description. They figure you'll either come look at em or buy em all sight unseen. They don't care as they're not salesmen.
Can buy 5-10 for the price of one at retail.

If you’re on a mobile, try switching to to desktop version. The desktop links often dont work on my mobile phone from public surplus

i saw that lady all distraught on Facebook.. so its a Maxxforce 7.. if it runs good get a blackstone report, a dealer health report have the DPF cleaned and drive it forever... not **ALL** of them break.... columbus city still has plenty of them original motors running routes every day..
the ones that do have the typical Navistar issues BEFORE they break.. rogue injectors, clogged DPF, high fuel / metal content in the oil..
the ones that break pistons are generally attributed to high EGTs from leaky injectors..

You're missing the fact that most of these buses were just taken out of service after being serviced and maintained regularly. The schools selling them are not your normal sellers looking to make a quick profit. I've found the schools don't really care what they sell for as long as they are gone. Since they aren't in the business of profiting off these buses, they will usually tell you everything about the bus
