They're minutes from me. Cat engine buses sell for 12-15 grand. Non-runners go for 8-10 grand.
I gave up even looking their direction. They're just crappy FL buses.
They also require all titles and paperwork to be done on site and they charge MORE than the state. A title is like $400 there.

The first bus lists a dt466 and current bid is $650.00 video shows it run and drive.

many of them show "no keys".. they are all DT-466s in that auction.. trouble is if you look down through, for the most part there are only 3 or 4 bidders on the high bid list .. which means dealers and exporters are all over those.. ill bet most of these go ripping high by the end...

Trust me. They'll all go for BIG bucks. Its right near me, I follow them for sport. If they go cheap its because they're either not running or there's some glaring flaw. The cheap ones still sell for more than most of us paid for our buses.
I know someone who bought their "skoolie" project there. She paid ten grand for a Thomas with a Cat. Not even that nice either.
The paperwork and title HAVE to be done on site and will cost another thousand.

Is an 06' new enough to be an emissions and electronics nightmare?

06 should still be just teir 1.. it will possibly have EGR.(cant remember if the DT-466E got EGR later in its years or not). but doesnt have DEF and DPF.

seemed that when all the major emissions came on they renamed all their engines to MaxxForce

a Maxxforce DT. was an emission-turded DT-466E

outbid immediately.
I'll throw a bid in sometime later. they end in like 5 hours or so.
But I expect them to go for a minimum of 5-10 grand.

I'd value them at 3500-4500 tops. I'd only want one to flip, as I don't care for the RE's or buses that new.
Give me a shorty or a classic mechanical FE!

Tracy, try Midwest Transit Equipment. I know, they're in the midwest, but their product is good and reasonably priced.

I buy mine out of state sight unseen from GovDeals and Public Surplus.
Craigslist, Ebay, and Gideons are useless.

They went for roughly 8 thousand each for the ones that ran and had keys.

Their website is poorly laid out and very little info or pictures are available. They do have some good stuff though.
