Yes, I was grumpy. I get contacted by foreigners a lot from craigslist ads and this particular person e-mailed me several times with questions I thought could be answered if he could have just come in person to see the bus. I figured if he was local, he would come see it. ??? A serious buyer would come see it. I couldn't figure out if he was serious why he didn't come look at it. Or at least be up front with me about his intentions.
In any case, I had to direct this guys e-mails to my spam folder because of the continuous harassment. he even tried to send me stuff with attachments, which I refused to open because of viruses. If I had not deleted them all, I would post them here or forward them to whoever here questions why I was irked with this guy.
On a side note, if anyone cares to know, he re-typed my last e-mail to him. Here are all of my e-mails copied and pasted to him with full headers. So we have a troll here that is trying to cause trouble. Nice.

Hi, It's a Thomas type D School bus(flatnose), 3208 Turbo Cat engine, Allison 4 speed automatic, 22.5 tires all in good shape, air brakes, maintained by school district since new, ceiling height is 6'5, overall 39' length, all seats have been removed as well as vinyl and plywood flooring- the remaining steel floor has been partially sanded/sealed. This would be an ideal candidate for a motorhome conversion. Thanks for inquiring and Ill be happy to answer any other questions that you may have if this sounds like what you are looking for...

year - 1987
miles - I think 200,000
Do you want to schedule a time to come and see it?

The best way for you to make a purchase decision is to see the bus for yourself. I'm available most evenings after 7pm. So, if you are are a serious inquirer (ie- cash in hand) then give me your # and well go from there.
thanx.

Hi Michael,
I have a few more questions for you. I am interested in knowing what the horsepower specs on the engine are, there should be a metal tag somewhere on the motor with it displayed. I am also interested in what model transmission the bus is running, what model 4 speed Allison? Do you know what the rear-ends gear ratio is? The axle gear ratio may well be on a tag inside the bus. Otherwise it will be stamped on a tag on the housing. Do you have any (or all) of the bus's maintenance records form the School District it was purchased from? Oil test records? I am also wondering about the mileage, what makes you think it has 200k on it? Also do you have more pictures available? I would be very interested in seeing more interior/exterior photos and photos of the engine, transmission, trans-axle, tires and break linkages. Of course the more photos the better.
Thanks!

A serious buyer (with cash) would be more concerned with their own inspection of a vehicle. The kind of info you're asking is readily available on the internet. You seem to be trolling craigslist to waste peoples time. This bothers me a bit. I am relieved that this is our last communication. Thank you.

Hello Michael,
Yes. I am a serious buyer (with cash). However I expect a bit more from you as a seller. You seem a bit reluctant to provide the requested information concerning your vehicle. This bothers me a bit. I will look elsewhere. Thank you.
