FOR SALE: 1992 Thomas/International Skoolie

1992 International/Thomas diesel school bus converted into an RV, “Skoolie“

Six cylinder International diesel has just 136,938 miles on it, so it’s just getting broken in! Starts right up every single time, and no fluid leaks. Formerly used to transport wildfire firefighters and had to pass inspection every time!

31.5’ bumper to bumper
236” wheelbase
8’ wide
10’10” tall
Living area 16’8” long
7’2 1/2” wide
6’3 1/2” tall
6’2” long
7’2 1/2” wide
6’3 1/2” tall

Four exterior compartments: 1 for batteries (2, brand new with knife switch disconnect), one for electrical and water heater, two for storage.

brand new 22 gallon propane tank with remote external fill valve

4 gallon Bosch water heater

Set up for shore power and water

Full-size bathroom in rear has composting toilet, fiberglass clawfoot tub and vanity with sink.

No need for black water tank because of composting toilet that is easy to maintain. Plumbing is finished other than installing a gray water tank and attaching the drain lines.

Kitchen has brand new IKEA cabinets, propane stove with oven, electric refrigerator, butcherblock countertops, Gooseneck faucet and farmhouse sink. Beadboard below windows.

Copilot seat mounted to floor, but removable. California King platform bed ( Lull mattress!) with three rolling drawers in front and storage in back accessed from bathroom door. Custom skylight over the bed amd operable skylight in kitchen. Curtains custom made to match the cabinets.

Ceiling is thermoformed panels to look like stamped tin.

Brand new insulated laminated wood flooring.

Lots of time and money in extras invested, but life has changed and it needs a new owner to give it the love and use it deserves!
