Shouldn't the tech or his company cover that cost, since they caused the damage?

I tried... they gave me the run around and refunded me the labor only... it was supposedly the manager i was talking to, so who knows.. I guess i could try calling again, with a little more anger lol

So the plan: i wont have a total amount until they complete the repair, but the guy ballparked 3K. 2200 for the cooler/fan assembly, 140 trip here, 140 trip back, and a 3-4 hours of labor at 150 an hour.

After the repair is done and i have the total, ill call the hose company and "raise hell". Being a business owner myself, i know they should have some sort of liability insurance to cover this.. If i can get them to cover it, without needing to threaten small claims or anything, the price will be the original 10k/7k. (with/without appliances, respectively)

I haven't mentioned the hose company's name because they have done good work for me in the past, and i understand s**t happens...so not trying to trash them or anything. (but some understanding from their end would be nice..)

The price without appliances is now $10K, and the price with appliances is $13K.

This is because: i found a slow leak in one of the hydraulic lines. Had a hose company come out to replace it, and their technician torqued on it so hard, it cracked the hydraulic oil cooler.... so now i am spending 3K for a new oil cooler assembly....

Bad news, yes, is the price, BUT, now she will be mechanically sound!

So again, 13k and its livable, 10k and youll need appliances.
Technician broke it and you're paying for it?

Sincerelyme, sending PM.

o1marc, got it repaired, just under $3500 (3480 and some change) The cooler assembly was 2200 itself.
But, hopefully not, i sent the info to the owner of the company. Waiting on further correspondence.. id like to avoid the court system, but may have to go to small claims...

Let's start the conversation

My wife and I have looked at your pics, read your description and watched your YouTube video, You've done an incredible amount of detailed work. We're a family of 5 and with some modifications we can make your bus function for us.

When did you last drive it?
Is that a 40ft interior?
Have you had any pets in there?

We're in central New Mexico, what part of Indiana are you in?
