For sale:2001 BlueBird Freightliner with Catapillar Engine

Due to changes in our family, we're selling our 60 seating capacity 2001 Bluebird Freightliner.

We started the renovation process to convert it to an RV. Floor removed and prepped with plywood and insulation, it's ready for the next steps.
This involved a lot of hard work and was a project of love: seat removal, rubber floor and old plywood removal, stripping and cleaning the base metal. Many hours of labour complete, many times cited as the worse part of the Skoolie renovation process.

This runs extremely well and we planned to drive it 4500 miles to Alaska from NC.

7.2 L Caterpillar Engine - powerful and reliable
147,900 miles
Body No. L04629
Tires 11R22.5
Push button trans - great on fuel
Distance between driver seat and back: 25 ft
Upgraded suspension - originally a school bus in the Tennessee mountains
No governor - no limit on speed. Governors are common in school buses

Partial paint job from previous owners.

Price: $5950

In NC you have to have most of the conversion process completed to get it titled as an RV, so it's still titled as a school bus.

It's still a bus title. In NC you have to have the conversion almost complete to get an RV title.
