Well, after spending nearly $1,300 on diagnostics, new fuel lines, lift pump, filters, FSS (fuel shutoff solenoid) I’m done. We got the fuel flowing much better, and then the injection pump presents it’s issue, leaking at the pump itself. The bus is located in Keller, TX at a secure storage lot, and can be driven, but it needs someone who’s got more time & knowledge than I do to give it some TLC and then a proper conversion. I’m simply trying to recoup my mechanics bill if possible, so I’m posting it up here first for anyone interested in making offers. I've got an upcoming cross-country move, so just don't have the time & resources to get this old girl up to where I'd trust taking it 2100 miles to Washington state, so I'd rather it go to someone who does have the time & resources to make something awesome out of it.....
It’s a 35’ 1989 bluebird with the 1st gen 12 valve cummins 5.9 (6BT) I’ll include some pics here.
Here's a link to a video I shot a few weeks back where you can hear it running.... I also mention the 4 new tires in the rear put on less than 2 years ago, and probably only about 1000 miles on those tires. (rough guess)
