FOR SALE: IC DT 466 Finished - 4 pers - finished - Lift Door

We carefully designed this bus for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). It could accommodate a 5th person. Designed with an open layout for plenty of light, practical use, and ample (playing) space inside, we tested and improved the bus over 8 months. Now are ready to start a new adventure.

The bus is road-ready and easily upgradable if desired. Right now, we are near Spokane and the bus is available early august onwards, unless we agree otherwise.

We chose this bus for its maneuverability, height, cruise control, lift door and quality. We made a spacious design, making it easy to play and move around. It can be parked in cities using a double-parking space.

The exterior was painted (Rustoleum Professional) by a befriended artist, sparking conversations wherever we go. Its distinctive look has been well-received, enhancing our boondocking opportunities.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:
IC DT466 (2006/2007) diesel engine with Allison automated transmission, air brakes, air suspension, lift door and cruise control. Engine runs smoothly with an odometer reading approximately 187,000 miles; it's capable of lasting up to 400,000 miles. We've driven it over 6,000 miles and it served us well. On the road it’s serviced at an International dealer shop.

BACKGROUND:
The bus served for years in Indiana and a few in Minnesota. We purchased it directly from a school bus company after they phased out diesel vehicles. They allowed us to convert it in their workshop and provided technical assistance. I have experience in woodworking and electrical work, and personally converted the interior.
