For sale: Renogy 3000 watt inverter

I bought this inverter in September 2021 when it was on sale. It was an impulse buy without completely doing my homework because it seemed like a good deal.

It is still new and unused in the original box.

I paid $325 and this unit is currently selling for $449 on the Renogy website and $325.

I am asking $ 300 plus shipping OBO. PM me if interested.

Thanks. Thanks

Forgot to mention… the reason I am selling is because it exceeds my electrical needs and is physically too large for the allotted space. I just need a smaller inverter, like 1000 or 1500 watts.

Also forgot to post links to Renogy and Amazon listings.

Thanks!

Open to offers. Also would consider trade for 1500-2500 watt inverter. Thanks!

I have the same inverter. It exceeds my needs also but I’m using it. She a workhorse.

Thanks. That is my plan if I can’t sell it. In the process of hooking everything up, and so far, I haven’t hooked up the 3000 watt… it’s a little too big for my space… fits but barely… also waiting to see if I can sell it so it’ll be still unused for the buyer.

If I do decide to use it, apparently I need to use 4/0 cable to connect it to my automatic transfer switch/distribution panel. Is that what you did, or do you just use the outlets?

I used this with the 4/0 cable. At the time Amazon sold 1ft of 4/0 cable with the fuse but I can’t find it now.

Meathead,

Thanks again for your help!

BTW, just realized I made a mistake above… the 4/0 wire goes between the inverter and the battery!
