FREE AC Units & Floor Heaters
I have three overhead Carrier units I want to give away.
You come and help pull them.
You can have ALL the components including under-bus components.
2005 Thomas Safe-T-Liner.
Also, floor heaters and all the tubing.

Can I ask why you're choosing to take them out?

I always ask the same.. but people keep taking them out.. I have repurposed quite a few of them for other people who want / need them.. just recently added a taken out set to a short bus for a church.. couple others went to friends of mine and one about a month agi ended up in one of my busses..
its just about impossible to comfortably air condition a whole bus on the road in 90s+ heat with minisplit or a camper A/C..

I am considering taking out the big and bulky ac in the back of my e450, and a floor heater in the front.
But I may build around it, with a garage in the back and the ac vent sticking out of the garage's wall.
Cadillac is it impossible even with a short bus?
And would it be possible to save it and reinstall if I changed my mind?

If no one takes the heaters you can recycle the copper cores for a few bucks.

On an 450 you often have dashboard air that is generally van sized so you can do well esp since your bus is shorted by having a garage. Trick is reconnecting the lines and keeping enough parts for the dash air to be functional . I’ve seen van cutaways with a separate system for the rear and some the dash and rear AC share the compressor and underskirt condenser.

At the OP’s request: please keep this on topic. They’re trying to give parts away, so please stick to that...

No idea - they say Carrier on them. I can look Saturday and let you know if there are any more specs available.

Hey all, I need to have the freon removed.
If you have tools and ability to do so the units are yours.
Otherwise PM me and I'll let you know when I have it removed professionally.

If you can post a pic of the compressor(s) we can tell what type they are.

We've been thinking floor heaters for awhile. Where do you live and how can we contact you to discuss heaters?

Good morning, all,
Freon is being recovered tomorrow - I'll keep you updated and I will take you up on your offer to help remove. I'm taking the next couple weeks off work.
1 heater is out - 2nd should be out soon. I'll contact you when they're both out.
