Free Partially-Completed Skoolie

Hi Guys,

I'm new here, and I just want to say, I think what you all are doing is so very cool. I love the idea of converting a school bus into a home on wheels. I've watched many a Youtube video with longing, but, alas, I've no money or place to work, and perhaps I lack the courage.

Anyway. This free ad just appeared today on craigslist in my area, and I think the person giving this bus away would appreciate the additional exposure to help locate a motivated new owner, and perhaps, God willing, this old bus with its unknown, colorful history will get a new lease on life and make someone's skoolie dream come true.

Even though I want to, I won't quote the ad to avoid copyright infringement as per forum rules. Please read the whole ad.

Cool. How far is it from a scrap yard?

If someone had a tow rig in the area and nothing to do they could probably get 800-1200 for the steel.

Yeah, you're right- most won't. So it would cost an additional bit of $ for some gallons of gasoline to start the cleaning out process lol.
