Generators

I have 2, 16 kW diesel generators that were installed in a Blue Bird motor home chassis as an experiment that didn't work out. They are made by Martin with Yanmar 4 cyl. engines. Both have just over 600 hours and are in near perfect condition. They come with the remote panel and must be removed (I'll help), and will be driven to your location for removal, within reason. I'm In Long Beach, CA
$6500.00/ea..

Those are nice last-forever generators. I don't need one, but I'm happy to act as an intermediate removal point if Flagstaff is within your reasonable range. We're right off I-40. That way, if someone to the East can get here...and this works for you...you're both welcome to park here and use my tools and engine hoist. Hopefully that would extend your possible sales territory.

Hi Ross
That is somewhat beyond awesome for you to offer that, thank you.

Yes they are. I use the main one on occasion and only run the second (backup) to exercise it.

Rad. Do you know the rough dimensions? Also, when you say “as an experiment that didn’t work out”, were the generators the experiment? If so, why didn't it work.

The whole bus was built for trade shows and to have enough power to stand alone without shore power. The original owner used it for a few years and it's spent most of its life in a heated warehouse. It was stored for 12 years when I bought it.
These are Martin Generators, 16 kW, diesel.

Thats a really good deal on a generator. I would consider one as a backup for my house but I need to focus on getting the bus done

They would be great for a house backup or even mounted on a small trailer. The bus also has a 70 gallon diesel tank just for them in addition to the main 90 in the rear. I need the space more than anything else. Once I get farther along on this build I'll advertise them in other places
