Hello! I have a gutted 2003 blue bird international (DT466E) for sale. This bus is 38' long, is full size and a dog nose/front engine. The bus was bought at an online auction that covered a school district in AL, then driven home. There have been no additional miles added to the bus beyond that. At the auction, this bus was the best on the lot. It had perfect maintenance, the driver took great care to keep it clean, the diesel tech for the school district really drove it home that this bus is a gem. There are no known engine or mechanical issues, the transmission runs fine (Allison 2000 Series)
What we've done to the bus:
- Gutted it
- Stripped the minimal surface rust that was on it
- Applied a rust preventative to the floor of the bus
- Weather proofed and sealed the windows to the best of our ability
- Applied tropi-cool to the roof of the bus
- Sealed leaks to the best of our ability
- Cut the electrical to the emergency exits without affecting the function of the bus
Why are we saying goodbye to her? Well, the bus is absolutely wonderful but life is taking us in a different direction.
