Gutted 2003 Dog Nose For Sale

My girlfriend and I purchased a 2003 Thomas school bus over the summer with the intent too convert it into a tiny home. After gutting it and spending a fair amount of time inside of it I realized that the ceiling was to low for me and made me feel very uncomfortable. It would however make a good conversion for adventure of smaller stature.

Bus is for sale in Northern New Jersey.

What drive train does it have? 300k on a N.J. bus

Looks like a CAT 3116 according to the pic on the listing. That engine is about 80% spent. The floor rust pics show it's rotten. That is a $1000 bus on a good day. A really good day.

NAW man that engine is just broke in, they last about forever and a year of Sundays I've heard.... LOL.

Hope you could detect my sarcasm, I couldn't resist. Guy says he is getting rid of it because he is too tall and cramped, wonder how this didn't register to him before "we" bought it to even start with.... Going to have to say this is one of those CL ads like with animals for sale were people give the same ol, I've got too many animals or we are moving next week and it's the best critter ever and love it so but I gotta cut it lose.

So yeah it's probably is ready to overhaul someones wallet.

No pictures of the back end, and you can see from the one photo of inside that there is severe rust at the base of the back wall. Removing the back wall panels would reveal the full horror of the situation.

Severe rust can be dealt with if you're a stubborn moron (and your rusted hulk has a desirable engine), but any normal person reading this should run from this bus. You wouldn't want it for free.
