Well I guess I knew this day would come. We'll be soon wrapping up our conversion and have sold the house, so it's back on the road and back to work. So of course that means some things have to go, including the other bus. She's the 1983 Thomas International 71 pass. with the DT466 engine and MT643(auto) trans combo. She was an equipment bus so there are no seats in her and she has two big doors in the back. Some clever person cut out a rectangle in the back bumper and mounted garage door tracks under the floor for about a 10' long or longer ramp (like on the U-haul trucks). There are 4 brand new (not re-treads) tires on her and a new alternator. She also has a spare mounted under the bus. We only driven her about 200 miles since we bought her. 175 miles just to get home after we bought her and a couple of drives down the back roads when we'd visit my uncle (where she's parked out in the country). Being governed she tops out at about 57mph, but certainly seems to have power to spare. I have no idea what the gear ratio of the rear end is. The engine absolutely purrs. My uncle who was an OTR driver always marvels at how smooth this engine sounds. The odometer reads around 199,500. I've created an album with pics for those interested in looking. PM me if you have more questions. $2700
