Heather is now for sale :(

Hey all!

Just to let you know I'm selling my namesake, my M1031 - otherwise known as Heather (my son named her).

She's an authentic M1031. 48 hours on the genset clock, 32K original miles. She has many extras. Spare brass radiator, starters, alternators, dashboard parts, headlights, and so on. She comes with a tow bar. She can be flat towed to her new home if you are inclined to do so. She's got Goodyear "C" rated tires with about 90% tread still left. I have a clean title with her as well.

I'm asking $4K. I've got well over $10K in her.

PM me if you are interested.

Wish I'd known a few months ago... I just bought an 87 V20 on GovDeals. Paid $500 more and I'd rather have yours.
GLWS! Love the old "square body" trucks.

What's the highway cruising speed on that beast?
I'm interested... if I can talk my wife into driving it for a few months.

Likewise interested in that, & in how many gallons to the mile she takes! [emoji6]

ECCB and Matt;

I re-geared her to cruise at 65 mph. Cost me a bundle to do it, but she gets right around 12 to 15 mpg on the highway. She needs the dead diesel to be flushed out and fresh put in. Dual fuel system as well, just not hooked up yet. Has tilt steering and delay wipers, no A/C, but the mounts are there for an A/C set up. Has an original stereo system with a cassette player (not hooked up) and other goodies. No carpet, just bare metal floor. Has a console divider too. Cloth seats. All new front end gaskets, pads, etc. She runs and drives like a new truck. Will need new batteries, and an oil change in addition to the fuel flush. Tires are 90% there. remember, she's an off-road truck, NOT a hotrod...... So she'll be a little slow off the line and not an 80 mph truck.......

LOL!!!!

BTW, she's set up for gas welding. Add a 120volt wire feed welder and all the bases are covered!

The only discernible fly in the ointment is the stereo is cassette and not 8-track...
