How much?

Hey everyone. I own an ‘89 Ford B700 Skoolie made by Thomas buses. It’s already been converted with solar, composting toilet, wood heat, 3 inch insulated reclaimed walnut floor, and other various cool things made by my wife. A lot of the wood used was cedar to keep it light. Here is my problem. I would like to sell the bus but it is in need of some brake work and radiator work. It overheats going up big hills. She could use a little love but we’ve put a lot into it. I’m just not sure on the price tag I should ask for. It has a 6 cylinder Diesel engine. Runs good other than the brakes and overheating issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The problem with our skoolies is every of them is unique. So, there is no price reference. I'd say between $2000 and $12000, depending on the buyers willing to pay for it, not on the amount invested in it.

which inline 6?
which transmission? 545? that could be part of the cooling problem.
what type of brakes? hydraulic(juice) brakes or air? or air over hydraulics?
that will effect the cost of brakework and who can do it.
all of those will help decide price value and popularity as well.

Hello. I haven’t had much internet since I posted the last question about my bus. My wife and I were talking about selling it. We haven’t put a price on it yet but we are thinking of getting rid of it. It runs great and I can get some pics to you in the next few days if you’re still interested. The bus is in northern idaho. Let me know what you were thinking. Thanks.

All great questions. I’m not sure what it all has. I’m not a mechanic. I can look at the engine and take some pics if that would help. My internet is shotty so it may take some time to reply. But any info would be helpful. Thanks.
