Re: How to get better MPG for my cummins 350?

Power and economy are both based on spending a dollar. Makingcertain improvements and changes will yield more power and better fuel milage. The first of the changes is to reduce exhaust back pressure and restriction. Cut the exhaust system off and change pipes to 4-5 inch diameter. Next power enhancement is change the inlet piping to 6-8 inch diameter. The last change would be to change wheel/tire size larger and change rear axle to higher number. Every thing is a compromise.
