How to post a classified listing.

Hey guys.. Our classified section is painful to read because the listings are so incomplete.

May I suggest an outline for How to post a classified.

The Title should include:

Year
Make
Model
Length
Miles
Engine -make/model
Trans - make/model
Location
Price

example.
2003 Thomas, Safe T liner, 43ft, 102,000 miles, Cat3160, Allison 2500pts, Salt Lake utah, $5000 obo

And add Photos if you can.. Photos are worth a 10000 words.

Copy and paste this template into the Title location and answer the questions:
Year-Make-Model-Length-Miles-Engine make/model-Trans make/model-Location-Price

We have been discussing this on another thread.

Christopher suggested a form, with similar info to what you described, that would not allow you to post without filling in all fields.

I think that may be a great improvement.

I'll second (or third) that. Would certainly minimize all the flaky flippers who don't have a clue what they are trying to sell.

Has to be an automatic thing the seller has to do. It can't be a "How To" because the problem is first time posters who haven't taken the time to read any of the forum, just list their stuff and go. So it has to be written so that the seller can't make the posting unless the requirements have been met, 5 post minimum, no "Ya Cool" posts to get to post requirement and then everything on the form to sell must be completed.

That's all fine and good, but I don't believe Thomas ever put a Allison 2500pts in their 43' Safe T Liner.
