I am selling, am i asking too much?

Hey, long time lurker, first time poster. its odd that the only question i've needed to ask is about selling this bus, as this site and its incredible wealth of knowledge have helped get this bus into a smooth running and clean driving machine.

I am looking to move back down to the lower 48, and don't feel like driving the beast across the frigid north in the middle of winter. does this price seem reasonable giving the condition?

In ak with housing and lifestyle the way it is and you not wanting to bring it home i would say you're are a grand maybe 1 and a half high...due to things like 1k miles from anything and its not insulated it's a truck with a camper. Shell

Good luck and welcome!

But it is already in Alaska. I've heard that there is a premium for anything that is in Alaska because it cost so much to get thing there. Someone told me that milk is $25 a gallon.

It definitely gets cold in there, Bansil, and with temperatures down in the single digits for the next week i could see people looking at that ad and just kind of shivering... im not opposed to dropping the price a grand at all. its been up on craigslist for two days and i have only had one response.

Although, as crazycal mentioned, stuff is rediculously expensive here. Milk isn't 25$ a gallon, but it may well be. things of large volume, like chips and t.p. are stupid expensive, be cause they come in by barge.

The biggest selling point for things here is rust, most vehicles over ten years old are so rusted you cant turn a bolt on them.

Thank you for your prompt responses, i appreciate the input.
