Question Interested? Looking to sell 1970 Chevy/Thomas RV

Maybe selling out 1970 Chevy-Thomas Bus RV later in 2021 or 2022. PM me if interested. Bus is located in Central Oregon.

Chassis/Cab: 1970 Chevy C-40 Mid Duty, Thomas Bus; swapped in Cummins Diesel 5.9 12V (1991 version from a Dodge 1-ton dually); TorqueFlight 3-speed/overdrive rebuilt 2K miles ago, rebuilt front-end steering, save for original drag link, 20” rims with Road Kings-good tread, hydraulic brakes w/cannister boosters rebuilt and new shocks, trailer hitch and wiring. Engine boosted with Bosch Injection plate and marine injectors, plenty of power!

Interior: RV parts from a vintage travel trailer-dinette, couch/z-bed, 3-way refer, 3 burner range/stove with heater, 2-bay stainless steel sink, water heater, 2 propane tanks, 15 gal fresh and grey water tanks. Interior LED lights.

Exterior: Faded green with yellow trim/belly band, bull bar, rear deck and rooftop deck or rack, solar panel (charger/converter) and battery separator, shore power connection.

Sure will hate to part with this classic, but hopefully there’s an interested party and new home in its future!

The original gasser was a 292 six, revved over 4K rpm at 55-60 mph and gulped fuel at 5-6 mpg. A tall block 427/466 or a 350 could have been an option, oh well.

Thanks! I was hoping to travel up to friends in Powell River but COVID changed all that. Now looking for a more overlanding type of camper.

And I have been trying to see friends down near the Salton Sea. We are currently locked down to our own regional health district, damn you covid!
Good luck with your sale and safe travels.
