Jungle Bus! Custom Artist Paint Job 1994 International in Maine w/Antique Plates!

The Big Breakwater Jungle Bus is FOR SALE!

Get a piece of history! (and a great platform for your tiny house, skoolie or DIY camper project?) This is READY TO DRIVE TODAY and needs NO INSPECTION. Vehicles over 25 years old are eligible for a simple $100/year registration and receive an ANTIQUE plate designation with no inspection! Maine is great for registering older vehicles - look it up!

Yes, you read that right - the big bus is ready for a new adventure! We are sad to see it go, but this 1994 International 3800 is road-worthy and can be driven home. The strong 6.7L 408 turbo diesel starts right up, the brakes and lights are a go and the big tires roll - is this your next project? The seats have been removed and there is a TON of space...and a custom paint job makes this one-of-a-kind.

We are offering this beauty to the community first for only $3,000....what a bargain for the priceless memories you'll create with it!

More info:
1994 International 3800

Comes with internal battery (AC, plug-in) charging system
Comes with wheel chocks and various fluids/maintenance items
Fantastic condition for its age, and the paint still looks great!

Sale is as-is, where-is though we can help with transport/delivery in the local area or can arrange for distance delivery. Preference to local buyers.Priced for quick sale in Portland at $3000 or best reasonable offer - don't be shy; we won't be offended if your offer is too low - we'll just ask you to try again.

Having all the seats out and all, $3,000.00 seems reasonable. Good luck with the sale.

nice bus.. the DT408 is between the 360 and 466 and is an INLINE 6 (not a V6), it is wet sleeve and is as solid as the 360 / 466, great engine.!!

Neat-O paint job!!

Thanks Native! We are a nonprofit hit hard by Covid. We're not allowed to have that many kids in one bus at a time, so we are selling it. Someone told us it would sell faster without the seats so they have been recycled and this bus is READY for a new adventure!
We are also open to ideas about creative financing on the bus sale...
Get in touch - we'd hate to see this gorgeous, running bus get chopped up! Help!

Anyway, if anyone can't see the pics, please send me a private message and I'll show you the gorgeous (if I do say so myself!) pics. The bus was painted by a famous aerosol artist in 2012 through an artist's grant here in Maine. The kids helped out - you can read an article about it HERE.

A new member must make 5 posts before being able to post images. I see you are now at 6, so you should be good to go.

This is what I get ... just a box with a red dot in it.

I did follow the link in your original post ... but I am one of those that do not like to follow links in general.

You need to have made at least 5 posts on this forum before you can upload pictures. I see you are now up to 7, so if you try again it should be possible.

Google Photo album isn't loading, says missing or deleted. Has this bus sold already?
