Almost bid on one too.

Looking for a bus with “character”, like the High Top 19 passenger International.
But thanks for reminding me to check the surplus sites again.

Oh, and I did find some dealer in Florida that does “layaway”; $100 puts in on hold for 7 days etc. but with only a few thousand down it would take forever to get it plus I can’t afford to have it delivered from that far.

This bus hunt is getting pretty stressful to be honest since I’m selling my car instead of fixing it and I need a bus ASAP for small errands like driving my kid to school twice a week.

Sorry for the long post but I think reality finally set in and it will take more cash and time to find what I’m looking for.
Thanks again.
I feel you completely. You’ll find the right bus, it’ll hit you when you’re least expecting it.

Would you mind PMing me and sharing the dealer in Florida? Wouldn’t mind checking them out. It would be nice to get something close by that I can actually inspect thoroughly.

Right now I’m torn between getting a 6 window shorty like the ones Puyallup had or a flat nose bluebird (max 32 feet).

Good luck, you’ll find it soon enough.

I’ve put this out there a couple of times. Down here in south Texas /Houston area, this guy has a couple of shorties like mine. I believe he will take less than $4000.

whats wrong with your car?
why not fix it to use until you find your bus and then sell it for more than its current state.

Are any of these a viable alternative to my dream bus?

I think things will shake loose by December when bus yards become fully active again
Just came across a listing on Facebook for 3 different shuttle busses for $4,500 each.
Here are the options according to the seller:

I have 3 vans E450. One is a 2001 E450 with a 7.3 engine , 2003 E450 with a 7.3 engine and a 2005 E450 with a 6.0 engine. All of them run and drives perfect.

Link to pictures attached: (hope that this is allowed).

Sure, I spend hours looking at every dealer and trucking website around.
I’ll send you whatever I found.
Thanks for your kind words.
Btw, here’s my dream bus and it’s only 23 feet long.
There’s one for sale in Oregon for $12,000

I should since the break job is cheap, I’m just so impatient.
Thanks for talking sense into me.

Here’s the bus I’m dreaming of. Currently for sale in Oregon for $12,000
Maybe I’m going to check the prices on task rabbit or roadie and see how much it would be deliver /drive a bus to my state.
The Texas shorties for under $4000 would be a great deal.

Anyhow, check out this little dream bus, only 23 http://https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/d/wolf-creek-high-top-international/7301886220.htmlfeet long.
