Re: Looking for a BlueBird

the following ebay seller http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQs...ndtransitsales is located near you and has many more buses than what he has listed on ebay, I haven't finished taking delivery of the one I have purchased off of him but he seems like a honest fellow to deal with, shoot him an email through the e-bay link and tell him what you're looking for

Re: Looking for a BlueBird

Any particular reason why the GVWR needs to be under 26,000 lbs? You can license it for less than the manufacturer's plated weight if your state uses weight as a calculating factor for price. For instance, my bus has a GVWR of 30,000 lbs, but is only plated for 18,000 (though I'm bumping to 21,000 next year). That would get you around the CDL thing. Otherwise, just plate it as a motorhome and it won't matter how much it weighs in most states. My license says I can drive single and combination vehicles up to 26,000 lbs and ALL recreational vehicles or implements of husbandry. Remember, commercial regulations are for commercial vehicles.
