My Conversion Dream Skoolie
Might as well employ a little sympathetic magic here and let the world know what I'm looking for in the way of a school bus to convert. Here we go, my dream bus is:
1991-1993 International (Later models are probably out of my budget)
Dog Nose (but not a Carpenter body)
71 passenger +
DT 466 Diesel (gotta love those "wet sleeves")
Allison MT643 Tranny but I'll probably settle for a 545 or a manual 5-speed
AIR Brakes! Yes!
Storage bins underneath
Dual fuel tanks between the rails
Under 150,000 miles
Unrealistic? Probably but I've come to learn that although we may desire certain things in life, we often forget to take the next step and ASK for them. This is me, taking my desire to the next step!
