I'm from Baton Rouge and just joined skoolie.net to research/find my first bus. Your's looks very solid. I was thinking that I would buy a bare bus and put the work into it, but looking at yours makes me think twice about it. I'm looking for a road trip machine for me and my buds. I like that you haven't put a queen bed in it. That deck and rack are also really nice.

Does that rack make it significantly tougher to turn without swinging the back end into something?
What kind of fuel economy does it get?

The rear rack really isn't a big deal, you get used to driving it, and using the mirrors helps tremendously.
I have calculated I get about 10mpg, which isn't bad at all for something this big. It's comparable to anything else of its size. Please give me a call if you feel like asking any other questions, I'd be happy to tell you all about it.
