Mostly converted 1988 Blue Bird school bus with the International 7.8L turbocharged diesel and 5-speed manual transmission. This bus runs and drives great and has hydraulic brakes. It has been officially reclassified with the state as an RV, so it's easy to insure and no CDL is required. It has current RV plates and insurance.
On the inside, the flooring consists of a layer of 10-mil vapor barrier (to prevent moisture), 1/2" R-Max rigid foam insulation, 7/16" OSB, and finally premium water-resistant resilient-tile flooring. The couch is custom-made to pull out into another bed as well as fold up for tons of storage space underneath. The kitchen area has a large stainless sink and plenty of countertop space for an in-counter stove top. There is a brand-new, never used refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom area features a custom-built shower pan constructed from 1/4" aluminum diamond-plate. The bathroom has a Dometic 310 porcelain RV toilet and hookups for shower hot and cold fixtures. Under the bus is a 35-gallon black water tank with two slide valves. The bedroom includes a full-size mattress, barn-wood walls, galvanized tin accents, caged Edison light fixture (from the 40's!) and brushed copper receptacle and switch covers. The rear of the bus is completely isolated from the front and offers tons of storage space, access to the area underneath the bed, a 75-gallon fresh water system, a Rheem 6-gallon hot water heater, and hot/cold water lines for a washer/dryer unit. The door between the rear of the bus and the bedroom opens only from the inside of the bedroom and facilitates loading and unloading large items like the refrigerator. On top of the bus is an automatic satellite dish for DirecTV. There are a ton of 120V receptacles throughout the bus, and everything goes back to a Square-D load center in the rear area of the bus.
The tires on this bus are in great condition, with years of service left. I've put a ton of work into this beauty, but school bills are piling up fast, so priorities and such.
