Re: need air wiper motors for 82 Crown bus

go to napa or a big truck parts supply, they can help you, this is not a floor mat and air freshener type of part.

Re: need air wiper motors for 82 Crown bus

the other option is to convert to electric wipers. I've been in various vehicles with air, vacuum, and electric wipers and in my experience electric wipers are far superior.

the above posters suggestion about napa auto is a good one....or a big truck parts store. take your old wiper motor with you when ya go.

air wiper motors

The wiper motors do not need to be from a Crown bus. Crown bus company used off the shelf parts from many parts makers. Many buses use air pressure to make the wipers move. The big change in resent years is to use electric wiper motors. If fact most bus converter guys change to electric wiper motors. Changing to electric wipers is easy. Several places on the net sell conversion kits. Just about any bus made after 1990 will have wipers and motors that can be easily changed. I have a set of motors from a 1993 Blue Bird for my 1968 Crown. There are many advantages for using electric wipers. When getting some new/used wipers, make a pattern of body mounting holes and get as much wiring as possible. Frank
