Needing to buy

I have a youth outreach that I need to travel the U.S. and raise funds for some future projects coming up in 2020. In the past I have traveled, stayed at motels, hotels, etc but this time and from now on I want to travel on or off grid if need be and I’m looking for a dependable school bus conversion. I will be on the road for weeks on end so I am looking for one with beds, shower, toilet, generator, kitchen, heated, air condition, etc.

Also I am not against doing the conversion myself (with the help of some friends of course) if need be but I am at least looking for one that is mechanically sound and ready to tackle 1000’s of miles over the next year and a half. Also in a perfect world I would rather find one that most if not all the prep work has been done and I can get right into the conversion, and even some of the conversion. I don’t mean to sound spoiled and lazy but time is not my friend and I need to begin travelling by Nov 1 and therefore I don’t have a lot of time and resources to prep. Does anyone reading this post have or know of someone with a bus like this?

That's my point. What's your budget? What size do you want?

The projects I am raising funds for gets 100% of what I raise, none of it goes towards my personal needs. I need this bus to get on the road to raise the money.

Budget

I guess I could say it depends on what % needs yet to be completed. As little as I am able to pick one up for. I am non profit so I am somewhat limited but at the end of the day I will probably end up spending a min of $1000 a month for travel and probably twice that much in lodging.

I would read every craigslist - searchtempest.com, ebay, skoolie.net, and others to look until you find one.

If you want something that is ready to go you really do want to start with something that is already completed.

Here is a Wanderlodge with all of the bells and whistles for $32K.

Here is another one for $45K:

I want to thank you for making these available. The prices are fair and I am sure will make nice travel homes for someone. Unfortunately they are a bit out of my league financially. I am looking more for a bus begun but not done or even one from out west without rust. Of course mine will probably never be as nice as one of these but who knows.
