Nice '97 Thomas Flat nose, front Cummins, Idaho

This is a very clean 1997 Thomas flat nose front engine bus up for bid at the SW Idaho school district of Homedale, Idaho. It is about 50 miles SW of Boise. It has about 153,000 miles, it has the 5.9L Cummins 6-cylinder diesel with an Allison MT643 auto trans. Rear tires are 75%, fronts are about 40%. It has air brakes. It is a clean bus, rated at 69 child-size passengers. Contact Faith Olsen at the Superintendant's office (208-337-4611) for bid forms. Minimum bid to be accepted is $3,350. Bid closing date is Monday March 1, 2010. Do not email me for more info, I am only the messenger. You must contact the school district superintendant's office for any other details or questions. (BTW- this bus did not get any bids the first time they offered it at auction, with the economy being in the pits here in Idaho, there may not be many bidders! )

Criminy, it couldn't be any farther from me.
Man, I want this bus.
Looks like about a two or three day drive home though.
I called and talked to them today, seems easy enough, but the drive. Oh man.
I can probably find one a lot closer.
