Something for people that can't make up their minds about owning and driving a bus.

I thought it would be a way for people to try out a bus without any commitment.

You can see them all here: Used Cars for Sale Kansas City MO 64120 Midway Auto
Some decent looking buses. Some appear to have a T444 & 2000/3000 series Allison.

I'd love to see that old Ford bus just outside of KC. For some unknown reason, I still have an urge to do a "camper" build in an older bus.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the user name. As a fellow old fart I like the old buses too but damn are they expensive.

Why is it that the bus middlemen aren't buying a bus like this. To old?
This Gillig is eight years older than my bus, but looks newer than mine.

I'm told, that I too am getting expensive, but I'm hoping that they will keep me oiled up and road worthy for years to come.(-:
The seller of that Ford sent me some pictures, and MAN, does it look nice. He said he might be up for some trades, like an older car or truck, but he wouldn't even give me an idea of what he was asking for it, so I knew it was more than I was going to pay. I may see if he'll swap for a '81 pickup, but won't hold my breath.....(you know us old guys and our short breathing) lol

Someone apparently did. It's sold now. Hope it's someone on here so that I'll have some company in the Gillig Phantom owners club

those kasnas city busses are actually pretty reasonable for dealer prices.. esp since you could probably talk them down a little and they look to be in decent shape..
I wonder since they are at an auto parts salvage place if they are all destroyed and permanently disabled or are driveable?

It is a used car lot.
I talked to them about one of the buses and was told that it drove fine but, as usual, they had no idea what transmission and had no interest in looking for me.
