I don't think anyone took you too seriously. It was an opportunity for us to tell Cowlitzcoach how much we appreciate all his input.

Nobody's dinging you for the comment. I just thought that I hadn't seen your name much, and you only had a few comments up on the board, so I thought to engage in a little community education.
This is the difference between sitting around with friends puttin' back a few chilly ones and seeing the community as a series of ASCII characters. You lose facial expression, tone of voice, body language, etc. No offense taken; none intended here.

7-window 2000 bluebird w/ DT466. Wheelchair lift and "low miles". Pictures look like the rust situation is great for the location (between Pittsburgh and Columbus). Asking $5000, but I'd guess it could be had for $3500.
All in all, not a bad deal if its as advertised.

definitely high priced but not a bad lookin bus.. esp for an Ohio bus.. a NE ohio bus at that... cant tell the trans.. that area is pretty flat so probably an AT545.. , its a 4 speed, (not a world)..
the A/C compressors look suspect.. lots of clutch dust around them.. probably one at l;east is burned up.

Is it worse on a bus? I've bought cheap salvage cars here in Ohio, rebuilt them and sold them to people who used them for years. Sure atxa dealer or a sale ad online a salvage rebuilt was a hard push but I did it for friends. All I had to do was take it to the DMV who inspected it.. really just made sure it starts drives and all the lights work.. that bus there looks like just sheet metal damage, but hard to tell without seeing in person.

That '15 FreightShaker is a roll-over. God only knows how the body has shifted on the frame rails and "adjusted" other components. Can of worms with these new buses.......
Just sayin'........

What scares me more is the tier 3 emissions stuff.

like maybe it tipped over in a ditch? it didnt go over violently.. but you are right though it still could shift the body / frame, and fill part of the engine with oil that shouldnt.. though they did say it runs fine...
tier 3 emissions definitely thumbs down on those..
and the *REAL* kicker of why I dont want it - theres no Air Conditioning..

Nice looking FE. It has way to many seats in it.
It looks like someone is doing some serious backpeddling to get out of a build. Another dream given up on.

Your Seattle craigslist add.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/6098390009.html
It kind of looks like someone picked out a nice bus and then figured out they didn't have parking for it, or some similar situation.
