Big Iron Steal?

This bus looks like it's a heck of a bargain. Low mileage, good drivetrain. I'm new here but based on my reading so far, someone should probably snatch this up. I would but we're not in a place to buy until next year.

on Public Surplus there is now a phony listing directing folks to another website. they're selling Ohio buses for TOP dollar, apparently. I can't believe PS puts up with that!

I saw that BS. We should email and complain or it'll get worse.

GovPlanet started that crap, too, but with sellers of aftermarket parts.

Public Surplus is good about showing the past sales on your bid watch whereas GovDeals makes you work for it in past searches.

I can't find a way to flag the ad short of calling PS and complaining. If you look I asked them " is this a REAL ad or are you directing folks to another site?" in the question section.

I didn't see, wasn't logged-in. I left my thoughts, as well.

Hopefully others will, too.

so- I'm bored this am and just browed "school bus" on Ebay... My goodness the prices are so HIGH and they're almost exclusively late model emmisions garbage buses.
I'd stick my buses on there for sport, but I really hate dealing with ebay as a seller it really sucks.
Its been a while since I looked at buses on Ebay, man I'd hate to be an ill-informed buyer in this market!

Then there's this dreamer hoping to get nearly 13 g's for a clapped out old Ford chassis bus that would sell for $1500 on a good day.

I think ebay attracts a lot of sellers that are unrealistic. They try to sell in their local market with no hope, then they turn to ebay.

I stopped using as a seller ebay after paypal made it so buyers could chargeback stuff 90 days later, now it is 6-months. No thanks.

IDk how anyone makes a buck off ebay. I quit selling long ago. Its totally a bunch of scamming scumbag "buyers" who ruined ebay. Ebay used to be awesome, now its just a ghost of its former self.

I agree I used to love ebay in the early 2000s, I sold tons of stuff. I loved the auction selling platform.

All the sellers I know have left ebay saying they cannot pay all the losses from chargebacks and scams.
